Main Complaint: Groin pain
Severe groin pain for the past two weeks, more intense on the left side.
Patient
28-year-old woman, 38 weeks pregnant, second pregnancy.

Result: Two days after treatment, the patient reported complete relief from the pain.
Second Treatment
Reason for return: One week later, she injured herself while running to a shelter during a nighttime alert. She felt she had overstretched her groin and experienced deep, unclear pain that made it difficult to walk.
She visited the emergency room, but no radiological examinations were performed due to her pregnancy. Doctors suspected a ligament tear and suggested that a cesarean section might be needed if the situation did not improve.
She arrived very distressed and in significant pain, using a walker and needing her partner’s help to get onto the treatment table.

Result: Two days later, she walked in with much more comfort and reported a significant improvement. She also shared that she had felt early signs of labor, but the process seemed to stop following the injury.
Third Treatment
Objective: Continue pain relief and support the body’s preparation for labor.
This session also included 15 minutes of gentle manual therapy.

Master Tung’s acupuncture continues to show impressive effectiveness, even in delicate cases like late-stage pregnancy with trauma. This case is a powerful example of how quickly and deeply this system can work.
