Dr. Young Wei-Chieh
Dr. Young Wei-Chieh, a distinguished disciple of Master Tung Ching Chang, is renowned for his extensive contributions to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture. Born in Taiwan, Dr. Young was immersed in a family with a deep background in TCM, which paved the way for his lifelong dedication to this healing art.
Contributions to Acupuncture Throughout his career, Dr. Young has been instrumental in expanding and documenting Master Tung’s Acupuncture. He developed the “Chien-Yin (Pulling & Guiding) Needling Technique” and the “Zang-Fu Bie Tong (Organ Divergent Communications) theory,” enhancing the efficacy and applications of Tung’s points. His first book, “Zhen Jiao Jing Wei” (The Longitude and Latitude of Acupuncture and Moxibustion), published in 1975, was the first to document Master Tung’s points with expanded theories and clinical experiences​ .
